Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Indore will be developed as an ideal city in every field along with cleanliness. Work will be done on schemes that will make this city the number one ideal city in the country in the next five years. He saw the presentation of the schemes proposed for works to be done in the next five years in Indore today and gave instructions to work according to a time-bound action plan to fulfill the future needs of Indore. There will be no shortcoming in the development of Indore.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that “cable cars” should be run on the busiest routes of the city to ease transport facility in Indore. Indore, The city of Indore which will operate cable cars will be included in selected cities of the country.
Government schools should be better than private schools
All government schools in the city will be improved and equipped better than private schools with public participation. He gave instructions to run a campaign for this.
Indore to have International Airport, IT and Logistics Hub
International airport should be developed in Indore. Full support will be given for this. He also directed to expand the IT hub. He told to organize meetings with IT affiliated companies. A well-equipped logistics hub should also be developed in the city.
Big gaushala, new road, pucca houses for all should be constructed in the district
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan instructed to develop a big gaushala as an ideal gaushala in the district. New roads should be developed according to the need of the hour. Efforts should be made to ensure that everyone has a concrete house by the year 2022.
Water Taps in every house by 2026
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that a plan has been prepared to extend coverage of water supply to all citizens by 2026 in the next five years. Har ghar mein nal- har ghar mein jal every house will have a tap and every tap will have water. Indore is going to be the first city in the country that will not have sewerage water in any river or drain. Clean and treated water will flow into the river and drains.
Rental Housing Scheme
Under rental housing, the target is to build 200 houses for urban labourers and migrants and 100 bed hostels for working women by 2022. Also, 97 thousand 627 affordable residential units are proposed to be constructed in different phases as per demand under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
New traffic plan for the city
A new Traffic Master Plan is being made for the city. Under this, construction of new roads, expansion of public transport facilities, displacement of loha mandi and foodgrain mandi and expansion of parking system is proposed. Development of 50 km Master Plan Road and seven flyovers on Ring Road and AB Road are proposed in the city. An 83-km outer ring road has also been planned to improve the traffic. Construction of 4-lane service road on both sides of Indore bypass has been planned.
Cable car network will be installed
Cable car network system will be developed in the city. This network will act as a feeder for Metro and BRTS and will also reduce the cost. It will be completely safe. This network can flow over the road, river and railway line.
A new sand market will be developed on 10 acres
An action plan has been made for the displacement of Loha Mandi and foodgrain mandi. Hathipala Loha Mandi will be displaced in Scheme number-78 Niranjanpur and the logistics hub proposed by IDA. Also, there is a plan to displace Chhawni Anaj Mandi at Kailod Kartal on 55 acres of land. Apart from this, there is also a plan for the development of a new sand market in an area of 10 acres in Sanavadia.
Thela zone and daily market will be developed
Thela zone and Dainik Market will be developed to promote vocal for local under Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh. Thela zones and Dainik Markets will be constructed at 10 places in the city.
Various industrial clusters to be developed - Logistics hub on 200 acres
A plan has been prepared to develop various industrial clusters to generate employment and promote local products in the district. According to this, Food Processing in Rangwasa, Ayurvedic, Toys and Electric Cluster in Mohana, Furniture and Pharma in Betma Khurd, Toy and Confectionery Cluster in Kshipra, Fintech and Knowledge Park in Multiproduct Industrial Area and Investment Region Development Plan in Depalpur have been prepared.
Religious tourism circuit will be developed
A religious tourism circuit will be developed by including the religious places in and around Indore in which major tourist destinations Mandu and Hanuwantia have also been added. Apart from this, Khajrana Ganesh Temple of Indore, Ujjain, Omkareshwar, Maheshwar etc. will also be included. Construction of Shiva family museum is proposed in Khajrana Ganesh temple.
Cultural and Arts Centre
Places like Gandhi Hall, Marathi School and Gopal Mandir of the city will be developed as centers of culture and art. A detailed plan is being prepared in consultation with experts.
Beggars to be trained, de-addiction centres to be developed
Efforts will be made to make beggars self-sufficient by training them in various skills. Rain Baseras will be built. De-addiction centres should be set up to help the addicts.
Indore has potential for toy manufacturing
Former Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya said that domestic industries and local products should be promoted in the city. There are immense possibilities of manufacturing toys in Indore. In this connection, transport hubs should be arranged so that transporters do not face any problem.
