Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that a strong law will be enacted in the state to take action against stone-pelters and adulterators, so that they can get life imprisonment. Campaign will be launched against all types of mafia and they will be uprooted. Land will be given to the poor by freeing land from the illegal possession of land mafia. The government is stricter than the thunderbolt for the criminals and as tender as a flower for gentlemen.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was addressing a programme organized in Niranjanpur, Indore (Samver assembly constituency) today. He distributed benefits to beneficiaries of various government schemes and the administration and had virtual interaction with the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Street Vendor Yojana in various cities of the state. He transferred a sum of Rs 149 crore 05 lakh of the 15th Finance Commission to the urban bodies of Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior and Jabalpur through a single click. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also awarded Deputy General Manager of Bank of India for 100 percent loan disbursement as per target.
Prime Minister’s Swanidhi Street Vendors Scheme proved to be a boon
The beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Street Vendors Yojana present in Mandla, Barwani, Umaria, Satna and Neemuch told the Chief Minister that they had lost employment due to the lockdown in Corona pandemic, but the Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana proved to be a boon for them all. Today all of them have been able to establish their own business. They did not have to face any trouble in getting loans.
Narmada river water in every village
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that we will definitely fulfill our resolve to provide Narmada water in every village of Samver assembly constituency. On the demand of Water Resources Minister Shri Tulsi Silavat, he also assured to construct a railway overbridge on the main road located at Talavali Chanda in the urban border ward number 35 of Sanwer area. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Indore will be made the most beautiful and developed city in the country. New employment opportunities will be generated by getting global recognition to local products of Indore.
Hawkers zone to be built in Indore
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the poor had to face unemployment in Corona. That is why the Central government has done the task of providing loans without interest to the poor under the Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Street Vendors Yojana. Hawker zones will also be created in the city to facilitate street vendors. A complex will be built in Indore to provide cheap houses to the poor coming from other cities and states. A campaign will also be launched to make Indore slum-free.
Indore Police honoured for action against drug mafia
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan honoured the Indore Police for taking action against drug mafia successfully. As part of the campaign against drug mafia, Indore Police succeeded in stopping international smuggling by seizing 70 kg of MDMA drug. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan honoured Additional Superintendent of Police Shri Guruprasad Parasar and his team with a shawl and shriphal.
