Cases have reduced, unnecessary curbs should not be imposed on marriage ceremonies

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that restrictions of number should be imposed in marriage related events as per the advice of Crisis Management Group in the districts of the state where Corona infection is more, but in districts where there are less number of cases, unnecessary restrictions on marriage related events should not be imposed. People should be kept in an “open jail” for some time for not wearing mask and taking other precautions related to Corona. Notification should be displayed outside the homes of those who are under “home isolation” so that they do not leave the house.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that “Containment Zones” should be made in areas where the infection is high, so that the infection does not spread further. Total five containment areas have been made in the areas including Kolar in Bhopal city, M.P. Nagar and Ashoka Garden. Special care should be taken in these areas.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Corona warrior Dr. Shubham Upadhyay laid down his life while serving Corona patients. We tried hard to save him. He was also supposed to be taken to Chennai for a “lung transplant”, but unfortunately, before that he passed away. We all pay our humble tributes to him. Financial assistance of Rs 50 lakh will be given to his family.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was reviewing the situation and arrangements of Corona in the state through video conferencing from his residence today. Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains, Additional Chief Secretary Shri Mohammad Suleman and the concerned officials were present in the meeting.

Those in “home isolation” should be closely monitored

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan directed that patients who are in “home isolation” should be closely monitored through command and control centres. They should be hospitalized immediately if necessary. They should not come out of the house, it should be strictly prohibited. Sixty-two percent of the total Corona patients are in home isolation.

Recovery rate is 91.1 percent

The recovery rate of Corona in the state is 91.1 percent, the positivity rate is 5.5 percent and the death rate is 1.6 percent. The number of active Corona cases is 14 thousand 677 and the number of Corona tests conducted per 10 lakh persons in the state is 42 thousand 889.

Maximum new cases in Indore

In a district-wise review it was found that the Indore reported maximum number of new cases with 556, followed by 313 in Bhopal, 95 in Gwalior, 85 in Jabalpur, 51 in Ratlam and 33 in Vidisha. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan instructed to pay special attention to these districts.

Visit to Sagar with team of expert doctors must

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan directed that the officers-in-charge of the city should visit Sagar tomorrow with a team of special doctors. Death rate here should be reduced in every situation.

No new case in Burhanpur, case study should be conducted

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that despite Burhanpur district being densely populated, Corona infection has been effectively controlled. While in the beginning, a large number of cases of Corona were reported in Burhanpur, today there are no new cases in the district and Corona is almost going to end here. He instructed the officers to conduct a case study of Burhanpur district and such arrangements should be implemented in other districts as well
